Partnering again with FISPES for the Campionati Italiani Assoluti di Para atletica 2024
Together everything is better, and we at Stellantis Autonomy are happy and proud to be together with FISPES again this year.
Our partnership with the Federazione Italiana Sport Paralimpici E Sperimentali (Italian Federation of Paralympic and Experimental Sports) was crowned at the Campionati Italiani Assoluti di Para atletica 2024, which took place at the Sanpolino Gabre Gabric stadium in Brescia on June 29th and 30th.
Two days of competitions that saw 165 athletes and 18 guides representing 45 sports clubs compete, in the last chance to win the titles of national champions and secure a place for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
Great results came, as expected:
- Oney Tapia and Assunta Legnante showing strength and precision in the shot put and discus throws
- Rigivan Ganeshamoorthy, breaking the world record in the javelin F52
- Maxcel Amo Manu, winning sprint in the men’s 200 metres
- Valentina Petrillo achieving a triple success in the women’s 200 metres
- Ndiaga Dieng taking the gold medal in the Italian 5000 metres
It was a great opportunity to remind ourselves that limits are made to be overcome, but also to show our support for the athletes ahead of the big event in Paris.
