Three medals for our Giulia Ghiretti

The 2024 European Paralympic Swimming Championships in Funchal, on the island of Madeira, Portugal, recently concluded: a huge triumph for all Italian athletes, who topped the medal table with a total of 63 medals, including 26 gold, 21 silver and 16 bronze.

Of these, three were won by our Giulia Ghiretti alone, who claimed two golds and one silver.

The young athlete from Parma joined Team Autonomy in 2021 as a testimonial, making her a spokesperson for our mission to encourage, facilitate and ensure freedom of movement for all.

We are very proud to have her with us, and we congratulate her on both her sporting achievements and her recent master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano, which she earned in parallel with her sporting endeavors.
