Vanni Oddera and “Storie da Raccontare” take us to Lake Como with Andreea, a “rare mother”.

Vanni Oddera, our freestyle motocross and altruism champion, is back with a new “Storia da Raccontare” (“Story to Tell”, translator’s note). This time, he took us on Lake Como aboard an Opel Mokka along with Andreea, who shares her “Diary of a Rare Mum” on social media.

Andreea is mother to three children, including Elena, who suffers from genetically determined mitochondriopathy, an extremely rare neurodegenerative disease; she is the only case in Italy.

Andreea showed us what it means for her to have “UnaMarciaInPiù” (“One more gear”, translator’s note), taking care every day of her special family and living with a condition that is not only rare but unique. Unique like little Elena, who witnessed Vanni and her mother’s action experience, water-skiing on Lake Como.
